Delete your Krew account

You can request permanent deletion of your Krew account and associated personal data. We verify requests to protect accounts from unauthorized deletion.

Request deletion

Send a request from an email address you can access. Include the Krew phone number, with country code, that you want deleted. Do not include your OTP or profile-space passcode.

Verification and timing

We may ask you to verify control of the registered phone number before deletion. After verification, we will begin deletion and normally complete it within 30 days. A limited record may be retained longer if required for security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or legal compliance. Backup copies may take additional time to expire through normal rotation.

Data deleted

  • Your Krew account, authentication tokens, profile details, and private profile spaces.
  • Your server-held contacts matching data and notification tokens.
  • Your messages, posts, stories, comments, reactions, uploaded media, circles, and location-sharing records where associated with your account and not legally required to be retained.

Important limitations

Deletion cannot remove content another user independently saved outside Krew or information that has already been delivered to and remains on another person’s device. Some shared conversations may retain a neutral system record needed to preserve conversation integrity for other participants. Deleting the app from your phone does not by itself delete your Krew account.
